Resumen

El artículo Reflexiones sobre Enfermería, filosofía y ética analiza dos dimensiones historiográficas: filosofía y ética, de acuerdo con distintas fuentes históricas, la influencia positiva en la construcción del conocimiento y pensamiento enfermero y la necesidad de vincularlos en la formación y el desempeño del arte de cuidar, por un lado, el reconocer que el Cuidado es un proceso interactivo por el que la enfermera y el cliente se ayudan mutuamente a desarrollarse, actualizarse y transformarse hacia mayores niveles de bienestar y es allí, donde la ética y la filosofía están implícitas, no solo con la reflexión sobre la aplicación de principios éticos sino que es necesario, advertir que los diferentes problemas, dilemas y paradojas que plantean las particulares situaciones encarnadas en el mundo de la vida de los sujetos requiere de una atención prioritaria: la formación de la enfermera, por otro lado, se describe como es vista la felicidad del hombre desde la filosofía romana y cual es la posición en la historia de enfermería.

Abstract (Reflections on Nursing, philosophy and ethics)

The article Reflections on Nursing, philosophy and ethics analyses two historiographic dimensions, philosophy and ethics, based on different historical sources. In addition, it studies positive influences on the construction of knowledge and nursing thinking, as well as the need to link them to the process of creating and developing the art of caring. Firstly, it is suggested that Caring should be acknowledged as an interactive process through which both the nurse and the client help each other to develop, update and evolve towards a higher well-being level, and that it is at this level where both ethics and philosophy are implicitly situated not only through reflection on the application of ethical principles but also through the need to realise that different problems, dilemmas and paradoxes emerging from particular day-to-day situations require priority attention: nursing training. Finally, based on the principles of roman philosophy and nursing history, a description of human happiness is also offered.
