El Laboratorio de Investigación Cualitativa en Salud lic. Un grupo para la humanización de los cuidados

Resumen

Influenciado por corrientes como la fenomenología interpretativa o hermenéutica de Heidegger o el modelo de Cuidados transculturales de Leininger, nace el Laboratorio de Investigación Cualitativa en Salud (lic) de la Fundación Index con el objeto de conformar un espacio alternativo para un colectivo crítico con el modelo tradicional de investigación biomédica que está dispuesto a desarrollar un nuevo modelo, que sea alternativo y complementario a la vez. El lic pretende ser el instrumento de una estrategia encaminada a promover los estudios cualitativos, debido al convencimiento de que éstos constituyen el eslabón necesario para humanizar la investigación en salud y acercar los avances científicos a las necesidades reales y expresadas por los ciudadanos. En este artículo se presentan los principios inspiradores del lic, las corrientes que le han influenciado, sus objetivos y las actividades que lleva a cabo.

Abstract (The Health Qualitative Research Laboratory)

The Laboratory of Qualitative Research on Health (LIC) of Index Foundation was influenced by different schools of thought such as the interpretative phenomenology, Heidegger's hermeneutics or the model of cross-cultural care proposed by Leininger. The aim of the LIC was to create an alternative area for a group that is critical of the traditional model of biomedical research but at the same time, it is willing to develop a new model, alternative and complementary at the same time. The LIC is intended to be a strategy able to promote qualitative studies because they are thought to be an essential link to humanize research on health and to use scientific breakthroughs to satisfy the population's needs. This article presents the principles in which this laboratory was inspired, the school of thought that has influenced it, its aims and the activities it organizes.
