Resumen

Este artículo es la reflexión de la autora sobre su experiencia con alumnas de Enfermería, cuya tesis doctoral se desarrolló en la Universidad de Cardiff ( ciudad de Gales. U.K.), Escuela de Enfermería y Obstetricia, entre 1997 y 2003, bajo la guía inspiradora y supervisión de Patricia Lyne, Consultant Research Professor. El trabajo presentado en este breve artículo trata de mostrar cómo cierta iniciativa en un contexto moderno produjo todo un proceso de planteamiento de preguntas, búsqueda de soluciones y, modestamente, desarrollo de nuevo conocimiento.

Abstract (The Development and evaluation of a course on quality guarantee for nurses. The History of a Thesis)

This article is the outcome of the author's critical thinking about her experience with nursing students. Her PhD thesis was developed at the School of Nursing and Midwifery of the University of Cardiff, between 1997 and 2003, under the inspiring supervision of Dr. Patricia Lyne, Consultant Research Professor. The work introduced in this brief article attempts to show how her initiative, in a modern context, brought about a whole process of questioning, solution searching and, modestly, developing of new knowledge.
