El cáncer de mama asociado al embarazo (CMAE) se define como aquel diagnosticado durante el periodo de gestación o el primer año posterior a su resolución; otros autores lo amplían hasta un segundo año postparto, un quinto, o toda la duración de la lactancia materna (LM). El cáncer de mama (CM) es una patología poco diagnosticada durante el embarazo, aunque durante los últimos años su incidencia se está viendo aumentada debido fundamentalmente al retraso de la primera gestación hasta más de 30 años (coincidiendo con la edad pico del tumor mamario) [seguir leyendo].
