Se presenta una revisión bibliográfica sobre trastornos de la conducta alimentaria (TCA) motivada por la reciente aparición en las últimas décadas de trastornos como la ortorexia, vigorexia y los comedores compulsivos, menos conocidos que la anorexia o la bulimia, pero que están tomando gran relevancia en la actualidad ya que está aumentando su prevalencia y que dan lugar también a graves consecuencias para la salud. Sobre estos �nuevos TCA� hay poca documentación, por lo que siguen siendo relativamente desconocidos y sería importante darlos a conocer tanto a la comunidad de profesionales de la salud como a la sociedad en general, ya que su conocimiento es el primer paso para su posterior prevención o detección [seguir leyendo].
