Resumen

Introducción. Se presenta un programa psicoeducativo para padres de pacientes diagnosticados de Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA), realizado en la Unidad de Salud Mental Infanto-Juvenil del Hospital Marítimo de Torremolinos dependiente del Hospital Virgen de la Victoria de Málaga. El objetivo es mostrar los resultados del programa a través de una encuesta de satisfacción realizada a los participantes, así como los resultados de sobrecarga familiar y apoyo social en cuidadores. Metodología. El programa se ha desarrollado en 16 grupos entre 2007 y 2015. 119 personas han contestado todos los cuestionarios. Conclusiones. Los resultados muestran alta satisfacción y alta efectividad del programa psicoeducativo.

Abstract (Psichoeducational program on parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder)

Introduction. The purpose of this paper is to present result of program to guide parents of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This program has been developed in Virgen de la Victoria Hospital, Malaga. Methodology. The program has been developed on 16 groups from 2007 to 2015. 119 people have responded questionnaires. Conclusion. The evaluation suggests a positive outcome in terms of parent satisfaction and parent learning perceived.
