Resumen

En la sociedad actual cada vez es mayor el número de personas atrapadas por adicciones a drogas, tanto legales como ilegales, considero un "fracaso" de la sociedad en general y del sistema sanitario en particular el que esto esté sucediendo.
Las familias se ven sin conocimiento para evitar que las personas más vulnerables, como son los adolescentes, caigan en esto, porque creen que nunca les va a afectar a ellos, cuando lo hacen no tienen recursos para hacerles ver que están en un callejón sin salida, y cuando por fin quieren cambiar la conducta les resulta imposible por no tener vuelta atrás. El sistema educativo tampoco se emplea a fondo en este tema así como la vigilancia y control por las fuerzas de seguridad del estado para evitar el tráfico y consumo son insuficientes. Las familias afectadas por este problema acaban totalmente desectruturadas. Esta es la experiencia de una madre anciana, cuidadora de su hijo drogodependiente,  en una visita que realicé al día siguiente de ser enterrado.

Abstract (Taking care for a drug addict, a work more than difficult)

Nowadays, there are an increasing number of people addicted to drugs, legal or illegal. This situation must be considered a failure of the society, generally speaking, and particularly of the health system.
Families have not enough knowledge to avoid more vulnerable people like teens fall down in this addiction. Firstly, they think that they are not going to be affected by drugs.  When they are involved, they have not resources to become aware that the problem has no solution. When they recognise the problem, and they want to change their attitude, it is too late. The educative system is not involved in this topic as it would be necessary. In the same way, vigilance and control for state's security forces to avoid the traffic is not sufficient. Finally, families affected by this problem are becoming broken homes. This is the experience of an old mother, who was taking care for her son, drug addict, in a visit the day after her son was buried.
