Resumen

Justificación: Los jóvenes tienen necesidades propias relativas a su salud y el sistema sanitario puede hacer aportaciones positivas si se abre a su realidad derribando barreras, lo que supone conocerla profundamente. Las técnicas cualitativas de estudio como la Técnica del Grupo Focal pueden facilitar el proceso.
Objetivos: Conocer las necesidades de los jóvenes respecto a la Consulta Joven (C.J.) que se plantea implantar en su Instituto de Educación Secundaria, en relación a: Características físicas (ubicación, horario...), contenidos de la misma y también forma de darla a conocer.
Metodología: Junto al equipo docente se forma un grupo de 10 alumnos representativos de las distintas tipologías del instituto. Mediante Técnica de Grupo Focal se debate y recogen sus aportaciones.
Resultados: Desechan diversas alternativas de local y eligen uno en el que prima el acceso "desapercibido" y de cuya existencia no sabían los profesores. Deciden la C.J. un día a la semana en horario de recreo. Priorizan la confidencialidad y que además de información se faciliten recursos, especialmente en lo referido a sexualidad. El grupo asume la realización de la campaña publicitaria.
Conclusiones: Después de 3 años de desarrollo de la C.J. las decisiones tomadas por el grupo se siguen valorando como acertadas.

Abstract (The youth decide where, how and when they want their Youth Consulting Room. Focal Group Technique)

Justification: The youth have their own needs regarding their health and the health system can make positive contributions if it opens to that reality knocking down the barriers, for what is necessary to have a thorough understanding of it. Qualitative techniques of study such as the Focal Group Technique may render the process easier.
Objectives: To know the needs of the youth regarding the Youth Consulting Room (Y. C. R.) which is tried to be implemented in their secondary school in respect of: characteristics (location, consulting hours...), contents and also how to make it known.
Method: Along with the teaching staff it was made a group of 10 students representing the different types in the school. Their contributions are discussed and taken using a Focal Group Technique.
Results: Different sites suggested are rejected, choosing one with a discreet access wich is highly valued. Teachers did not know the existence of this premise in the building. They decide to set the service one day a week during the break. They prioritize confidentiality and that, besides information, they are provided with resources, especially  concerning sexuality. The group takes on the publicity campaign.
Conclusions: After 3 years of developement of the Y.C.R. the decisions taken by the group are still assessed as correct.
